Bring your ERP · Epicor · read-only

Margin check for Eclipse.

Run the Margin X-Ray on your Epicor Eclipse data. You pull a few tables read-only, drop them on the X-Ray, and it finds the supplier increases that never reached the price, the expired contracts still billing, the claims never filed, all inside your browser tab. Nothing is uploaded, and no login, password or key ever leaves your building.

Rocket UniVerse (multivalue) database: on-premises, Epicor-hosted or Eclipse Cloud on Azure.

Where Eclipse keeps it

A distributor’s file is many supplier lines, each with its own rule. These are the places Eclipse stores what the X-Ray reads.

Where Epicor Eclipse stores each piece of pricing data the X-Ray reads.
What the X-Ray readsWhere Eclipse keeps it
Supplierthe product’s price line (buy line), and its vendor
Purchase discount groupthe buy matrix cells for the price line
Price linePrice Line on the product (Eclipse’s supplier-line grouping)
Customer price classthe sell Matrix file: customer, job and price-class cells with dates and precedence
Quantity breaksmultivalue break fields: ask for the exploded export, one column per break
Contracts and SPAsMatrix cells with effective and expiration dates; SPA / ship-and-debit rebated costs live in the matrix too

The read-only pull

Eclipse report writer: the requested report layouts, built once by your Eclipse admin

  1. Your Eclipse admin builds the four report layouts below in the report writer (a run-only account is enough).
  2. Export each to CSV, exploded (one column per break and per UOM), active matrix cells only.
  3. Keep the column names exactly as listed: the X-Ray maps them with no choices.
  4. Drop the four files, or one .zip of them, on the X-Ray.
Requested report layouts (columns)
PRODUCT Product # | Description | Price Line | Mfr | Mfr Part # | Product Group | Sub Class | Sell UOM | Pack Qty | Buy Pkg | Per | COG | Avg Cost | Prior Cost | Cost Change Date | Mfr List | Vendor Net | Vendor Price Date | Sell Price | Price Change Date | Qty 1 … Qty 5 | Price 1 … Price 5 | Diameter | Length | On Hand | Status
MATRIX Matrix ID | Customer # | Customer Name | Product # | Product Group | Price | Disc % | Effective | Expires | Ship-To | Committed Qty | SPA Vendor | SPA Cost | Claimed Qty
SALES Invoice # | Line # | Date | Customer # | Ship-To | Product # | Description | Qty | UOM | Unit Price | Ext Price | COGS | Override | Quote # | Quote Exp | Freight Cost | Salesperson | Branch
CUSTOMER Customer # | Customer Name | Price Class | Salesperson | Branch | Freight Terms | Free Freight Min

A few columns in the sample pack come from a second report in a real pull, and are marked illustrative: every column: the pack is the requested report layout (Eclipse field-level documentation is scarce).

The traps the X-Ray handles

  • Multivalue fields: one record can hold several breaks or UOMs in one field. A flat export may concatenate them or keep only the first: ask for the exploded export.
  • Price-per quantities (per 100 ft, per C) are routine in electrical and PVF: the Per column is read before any margin math.
  • Matrix cells carry effective and expiration dates and a precedence order: export the active cells with their precedence level.
  • Margin on COGS understates true margin on ship-and-debit lines unless the SPA cost is included.

The X-Ray recognizes these Eclipse tables from their column names alone and joins them in your browser, with no column choices. Soft-deleted rows are left out and counted, never scanned.

Next: your own file

Start with the free X-Ray on your own export. When you want every leak sized against your invoices and supplier files, the Margin Diagnostic does it on your full data (from $5,000), with your Supplier Line Rulebook and a Line Review Kit for each supplier review included.

Field names follow vendor documentation and community data dictionaries, compiled in our ERP research (October 2026). Your version may name a field differently; the X-Ray’s column matcher accepts either.
